Carsie Blanton is dedicating all ticket proceeds after costs from her Boston-area show to Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA). Carsie Blanton is an anti-Zionist Jew who sings songs of revolutionary optimism. This event is co-sponsored by local branches of Artists Against Apartheid, Jewish Voice for Peace, If Not Now, Palestinian Youth Movement, and Party for Socialism and Liberation.
Blanton says, "this is an opportunity to bring together organizers from throughout the local community, celebrate their dedication to the Palestinian cause, sing and laugh and cry together, and raise desperately needed funds for the people of Gaza."
